During the Q & A portion of the talk, one of the attendees asked me when I first internalized “give first and expect nothing in return”. I said that I first learned about this from a book my boss gave me to read. The book was Psycho-Cybernetics by Dr. Maxwell Maltz. We then discussed the value of building a library of self- help books.
