I once came outside to find my dog sitting, staring at me, holding a dead bird in his mouth. I don't know if he killed it or if he just found it and had no clue what to do next or what. He just sat there, not moving a muscle, staring me down with a carcass hanging from his mouth. It was the most David Lynch thing that has ever happened to me.
